First Baptist Church of Westerville was organized in 1963.
From the start it has been affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention
and the Metro Columbus Baptist Association. Through the Cooperative
Program of the Southern Baptist Convention we support mission work around
the world. We believe in weekly Bible study for all ages and in genuine corporate worship when the church is gathered. We believe in individual participation and spiritual growth on the part of every member. We believe we are called by God to share our faith with others in our community and around the world. We welcome those who are interested to visit with us and consider becoming a part of our fellowship.

What We Believe We believe in the inspiration and the authority of the Scripture. We believe in salvation by grace. Only those are made right with God who repent of their sin and trust Jesus Christ as Savior. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sin and rose from the dead, victorious over sin and the grave. We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back again to complete his Kingdom and to judge the world. We believe that those who profess faith in Jesus Christ should live Godly lives in this world, consistent with His example. We believe it is our duty and privilege to tell others about Jesus Christ. We believe that as a church of kindred believers we are to minister to the needs of our community and the world, in the strength of the Holy Spirit.
